Laura Court, Accredited Practising Dietitian

About me

I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a passion for helping women, babies and children thrive through evidence-based, compassionate nutrition care.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, and since graduating in 2007 I have accumulated almost 18 years of experience working as a dietitian, including ten years in private practice.

I have experience across paediatric nutrition and women's health, supporting clients through every stage of life — from infancy and childhood to conception and pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and beyond. My approach is practical, personalised and centred around your specific goals.

I have a particular interest in women's hormonal health, gut health, gestational diabetes, paediatric feeding challenges and picky eating. I enjoy working collaboratively with GPs, health specialists and health care professionals to provide holistic, family-centred care.

I am also a trained personal trainer, and I provide practical guidance and encouragement that fits in with your lifestyle alongside dietary guidance.

Away from the clinic

I love to spend time with my three children where we live on the Mornington Peninsula — whether that's playing in the park, spending time at the beach or going for a bike ride. For solo time, I enjoy going to pilates, walking and strength training. I love a good coffee, an infrared sauna and reading a home and garden magazine!
